In the NewYork Times, Zach Wichter shows new technical skills produced for young children. The purpose? « As parents increasingly grow eager to give their children an edge in technology skills by getting them to think like a computer early, start-ups and entrepreneurs see potential in creating toys with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics ».

As we saw during the Octave Program, technology is an important part of the modern world and « finding ways to introduce technological principles at a young age helps children begin to develop necessary skills. »
